Refund & Cancellation Policy
What you can expect if you ask for a refund, cancel a subscription, or change your mind about a paid report.
1. Free editorial content
The majority of Fidelis Crypto content — including all news articles, reviews, comparisons and the Friday newsletter — is free. There is nothing to refund. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the footer of every email.
2. Paid services we offer
From time to time we publish paid services, including:
- Annual Premium Reports — longer-form PDF reports (typically €29–€89).
- Editorial Consultations — paid one-to-one sessions with our analysts.
- Custom Research — commissioned for corporate readers.
3. Right of withdrawal (EU 14-day rule)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase to withdraw from any paid digital service, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email hello@rofidelis.live with your order ID before the 14 days expire.
Exception for digital downloads. If you have explicitly consented to start receiving the digital content (for example, downloading a Premium Report) before the 14-day period expires, you waive your right of withdrawal for that specific purchase. This is required by EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).
4. Standard refund window
Beyond the 14-day statutory window, we offer a goodwill refund window of 30 days from purchase for any subscription that has not been substantially used. Refund requests are reviewed individually by our editorial operations team. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
5. Subscription cancellations
If we ever offer a recurring paid subscription, you can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate partial periods.
6. Refunds for paid consultations
Editorial consultations can be cancelled and refunded in full up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 48 hours are eligible for a 50% refund or a free rescheduling, at your choice.
7. When we won't refund
We may decline refund requests in the following situations:
- The request is made more than 30 days after purchase.
- The digital content has already been fully consumed (downloaded, accessed multiple times) and your statutory withdrawal rights have been waived.
- The request relates to a free product — no refund is owed for content that was never paid for.
- The request appears to be repeated chargeback abuse — we may refer such cases to fraud investigators.
8. Editorial corrections
We treat correction requests separately from refunds. If you spot a factual error in any article, email tips@rofidelis.live. Verified corrections are published within 24 hours and logged at the bottom of the affected article. Editorial corrections are not, on their own, a refundable event.
9. How to request a refund
- Email hello@rofidelis.live with the subject "Refund request" and your order or invoice ID.
- Include a brief explanation. You don't need to justify a request made within the 14-day statutory window.
- Our team responds within 5 business days with an outcome.
- Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10 business days.
10. Dispute resolution
If you're unhappy with our response, you can refer the matter to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
